Canadian screen actress, popularly known as Bo Dennis from Lost Girl. In 2019, she started starring on CBSs Blood & Treasure. Other appearances include Earthstorm which aired in 2006 and The Perfect Neighbor, which she starred in 2005. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada the daughter of Peter Silk an academic and his wife Ilkay who is an actress, director and producer, playwright and educator as well as director of drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Annas the first memory of her childhood were attending play rehearsals and witnessing her mom working. Silk was in a variety of commercials as a child. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. In her early theater career, she was involved in at least two Theatre St. Thomas productions: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Samuel and Levi are the sons of Seth Cooperman. In 2009 she landed the principal role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. CNN named her portrayal of Bo and Lauren in their relationship as lovers of the same gender in Lost Girl one of their most cherished TV couples. E! declared them as the Top Television Couples of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's online popularity grew as a consequence of the show.
